Nighthawks' Carrier Scores in CFL Debut!

Wichita Falls Nighthawks receiver and kick returner Tyron Carrier made a splash in his CFL debut for the Montreal Alouettes Thursday night, returning a first-quarter punt 77 yards for a touchdown in the Canadian league's season-opening game.

Carrier's score put the visiting Alouettes up 14-0 on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The game got much tighter before Montreal escaped with a wild 38-33 win.

Carrier was part of the PAFL Champion Nighthawks' inaugural season, after graduating from the University of Houston as the Cougars' all-time leader in total yardage.
