Texas Resources for Iraq Afghanistan Deployment invite you to polish up your boots and Two-Step for TRIAD. Scoot a boot to Shasta Shaw and the Ranch Rockers, enjoy smoked pork tenderloin dinner by The Elks, and it's all to raise funds to provide assistance for our veterans and deployed military families.

The event is July 13 at 6 p.m.  at the Elks Lodge, 4205 Seymour Highway.

    Plumber airlifted to Dallas hospital following a house fire in Wichita Falls Wichita Falls Fire Department firefighter said the plumber suffered burn injuries due to smoke inhalation and airlifted to Parkland Memorial. The identity of the plumber is still unknown. He was underneath of a home on the 1500 block of Speedway Avenue working on the waterline when the home caught fire. WFFD firefighters called the cause of the fire an accident.
