Duo Leads Deputies On Wild Chase

Posted: Updated:

Wichita County Sheriffs Deputies arrested two people on Saturday night, following a wild high speed chase.

Sheriff David Duke told Newschannel 6 Joshua Logan Menasco was the driver of the vehicle.

The 33-year-old failed to yield and ran a red light at 10th & Kemp. The Menasco took off, at times going 100 mph down 10th Street.

28-year-old Rona Bree-Ann Taylor was the passenger in the vehicle.

Deputies tried to use road spikes on the car downtown. When that didn't work, the suspects drove down Highway 287. A Sheriffs Deputy eventually ran the car off the road and the suspects were taken into custody.
