Country singer Randy Travis has been admitted to a Texas hospital.

According to a news release, Travis was admitted to medical facility on Sunday for complications for viral cardiomyopathy.

The award winning singer, who is known for his hits such as "Three Wooden Crosses" and Forever and Ever, Amen," was last listed in critical condition.

No additional information was released.
