Anonymous Tip Leads To Arrests

Two people are in jail after authorities received an anonymous tip about the location of a man wanted on a felony warrant.

Cody Stephen Crump and Stephanie Baird were arrested Monday afternoon around 2:00p.m.

Authorities received an anonymous tip informing them Crump, 24, was at a home on 21st St.  Police questioned Baird and she denied that Crump was in the home.  However authorities said they saw him through as window.

After asking Baird about going inside to search the house, they went in and found Crump in a crawl space.

Both Baird and Crump are in the Wichita County Jail. 

Crump is charged with violation of probation/aggravated assault and his bond has been set at $25,000.  Baird is charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution.  At this time her bond as not been set.
