Final Goodbyes

Many family members and friends said their final goodbyes to the 11-year-old boy that was killed after being hit by a truck.

Jared Macias was laid to rest Friday morning at the Texoma Cowboy Church on Hwy 281 S.

Macias was killed last week while riding a horse on McFall Road.  Macias and another 11-year-old girl were riding the horse when DPS Troopers said a truck swerved and hit the children and the horse.

Macias died the next day at United Regional.

At last report the girl was in critical condition at Cook's Children's Hospital.

An account has been set up at Texoma Community Credit Union for Micas for his medical expenses.
