The City of Wichita Falls has hired a new City Clerk.
Mayor Glenn Barham and members of the City Council announced Tuesday that Tracy Norr has been selected as the new City Clerk for the City of Wichita Falls.
The City Clerk is responsible for proving administrative support to the City Council, overseeing records management, managing city elections, and coordinating the City Boards and Commissions.
The position was opened with the retirement of Lydia Ozuna on June 28, 2013.
Norr is coming to the Falls from Draper, Utah, where she spent the last 5 years as a City Clerk for the City of Draper. Prior to her service in Draper, she spent two years in Fillmore, Utah as City Recorder as 14 years as City Secretary for the Town of Pantego, Texas.
