New Electra Police Officer

The Electra Police Department will soon have another officer added to the force.

Christopher Ray Barnett was hired as the new full-time police officer Wednesday.  Barnett is a Wichita Falls native.

The 22-year-old went to school and attended the Police Academy in Waxahachie.  He is joining the force coming straight out of the academy.

Barnett will be sworn in at City Council on Tuesday and then begin his training.
