Strong Sentence In Aggravated Robbery

The man accused of robbing a Wichita Falls convenience store at gun point received a strong sentencing in the 30th District Court Thursday afternoon.

Akkem Nash was sentenced to 45 years in prison.

The punishment phase was delayed last week because the judge wanted to look over a document.

The 22-year-old was accused of robbing the 7/11 on Southwest Parkway and Barnett Rd. in June 2012 with two other people.  Nash's brother, Kadeem Emmers, took the witness stand last week.

The other two suspects in the robbery still remain behind bars.
