Six Southwestern Oklahoma cities must reduce their usage of Waurika Lake by 10 percent.
This is because the lake level continues to fall with the return of hot and dry weather.
The Waurika Conservancy District Board approved the cut Tuesday.
Lawton, Walters, and Temple have already stopped using Waurika water because of a water line break. The other cities under the water cut are Duncan, Comanche, and Waurika.
