Arrests Made In Shooting

Wichita Falls Police said two men have been arrested in connection to a motel shooting.

Tavares Byrd was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery on Wednesday.  His bond has been set at $1-million.

We've also learned an accused murderer is also one of the suspects in the shooting.

Carlos Lynn Byrd was arrested earlier this month south of Dallas.

A couple identified Carlos through a photo line-up as one of the men involved.  He is facing two charges of aggravated robbery and his bond was set at more than $4-million.  He also has another charge in relation to a different crime.

Authorities said a man was shot on the Catalina Motel property on E. Scott St. just after 9:00p.m. Wednesday night.

The victim was responsive and was taken to United Regional Hospital.  Sgt. David Ferguson told Newschannel 6 the victim is expected to survive.
