Christina Myers - Host of 6 On Your Side

Christina loves waking up with Texoma every weekday as the Anchor for Newschannel 6 "Early Morning" and "This Morning."

Christina has lived in Wichita Falls for about two years now. She started at KAUZ as a Reporter and Weekend Anchor in July 2012.

As a reporter, Christina has helped Texomans stay safe during a number of citywide manhunts for violent criminals, guided you through the turmoil in Electra between the police department and City Council, and clarified many different sides of our drought crisis.

This experience of going in-depth on issues has Christina ready to also be Newschannel 6's "Six on Your Side" reporter. "Six on Your Side" are special reports that dig deeper, uncover the truth and alert Texomans to important issues.

Christina is originally from Rhode Island, and graduated from Hofstra University with B.A. degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Sociology. She then worked for WPRO in Rhode Island as an Anchor and Reporter.

Christina is so excited to now call Texas "home" and live outside of the Northeast for the first time.

If you have any story ideas, please feel free to email Christina at cmyers@kauz.com.
