Riders For Wounded Warriors Project

A Nocona couple started the Riders for Wounded Warriors Project last summer.  The Nocona VFW Post 8558 Riding Club consists of community members who want to honor veterans. 

They will be participating in the Forestburg Watermelon Festival and Rodeo Parade Saturday at 10 a.m. 

Also, that same day is a Veteran Outreach from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  It is sponsored by the Montage County Veterans Service Office.

Veterans need to bring their DD214's for benefits and valuable personal assistance with your Questions and Claims will be given by experts from:

  • Waco VA Regional Office Representatives
  • Ft Worth VA Vet Center Representatives
