Paws for Greatness is a four week program designed for at-risk youths, ages 13 to 17. Through the program, they try to encourage the teens to make more positive choices in their lives as they help save the lives of homeless shelter dogs.
There will be a Paws for Greatness Graduation/Adoption Event on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be at River Bend Nature Center Pavilion, 2200 3rd St.
A viewing of a the documentary, A Day in the Life of a Shelter Dog, which was put together by the youth will air at 1 p.m. Demonstrations and presentations start at noon.
