Meet Dorrie O’Brien

The Wichita Falls Chapter of the ACT! For America organization welcomes distinguished author Ms. Dorrie O'Brien to Midwestern State University!

Ms. Dorrie O'Brien is a graduate of the Strategic Engagement Group for the Study of Islamic Doctrine in Washington, D.C. She is a national mentor and Co-Director for the State of Texas for ACT! For America.

In a special event Monday, Dorrie O'Brien will be on MSU's campus for a book signing featuring her book, 500+ Islamic Words You Should Know, followed by a photo session. The author is then scheduled to address the audience.

Members of the public are invited to attend. The event begins at 5:00 p.m. in room 127 of the Bolin Science Building. The book signing ends at 7:00 p.m.

At 7:00 p.m., Ms. O'Brien will be the guest lecturer at the ACT! meeting. The regular meetings of the Wichita Falls chapter take place on the third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in room 312 of Bolin Science Hall at MSU.

The ACT! For America Wichita Falls Chapter Mission Statement is, verbatim:

- Inform, educate, and mobilize our local community on the threats of radical Islam and what must be done to protect ourselves and our country (national security group).

- Stay informed and involved in order to take effective action.

- Hold elected officials accountable pertaining to their stance on radical Islam (full time Lobbyist).

- Develop coalitions of like-minded organizations to magnify our voices and increase our effectiveness.
