Ken Holsberry, preacher at Edgemere Church of Christ, joined us on Newschannel 6 Saturday morning to talk more about a prayer event next weekend in Wichita Falls.

Organizers are inviting members of the public to join together as a community and attend a prayer service. The specific purpose of this event is to pray for rain in the water shed.

The event happens Sunday, August 25 from 6 – 7 p.m. at the Wichita Theatre.

Psalm 63:1 reads, "You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water."

Event: Texoma Prays

Date: Sunday, August 25

Location: Wichita Theatre (10th & Indiana Ave., Downtown Wichita Falls, 76301)

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The public is invited to attend the free event. Those who attend do not need to be a member of the Edgemere Church of Christ. Everyone is welcome.
