Water Reuse Project Approved

A solution to the lack of water in Wichita Falls is now set in motion.

City Councilors approved $13-million to finance the temporary reuse project.

It will build a pipeline from the River Road Waste Water Facility to the Cypress Treatment Plant.  The water will then be treated several times before it goes back into the water system.

They also approved many other measures during the meeting on Tuesday.  This included the bid for the South Weeks Park Pond Parking Lot.  Over $90,000 was approved to the Bobby Bonds Excavation Inc.
