A Texoma company found a unique was to honor some of the victims in the West, Texas plant explosion.
Claytex trophies in Henrietta created a plaque made from metal of the destroyed fertilizer plant. They goal was to honor the loves of the 12 firefighters who were killed in the April 17th explosion.
It was a company wide effort and Claytex President Jack Ellis said everyone wanted to pitch in.
"We designed it and put it together and once it was finished we wanted to maybe not only recognize them gentlemen but we wanted to honor our employees too for doing a good job," Ellis said.
The trophy company will be presenting the plaque to West, Texas firefighters during the upcoming labor day West Fest.
