Lake levels dropped for the week of August 26, 2013.

Wichita Falls is getting closer and closer to Stage Four Drought Disaster.  This is no surprise with no rain and the return of hot temperatures.

The Wichita Falls Public Works Department has measured both Lake Arrowhead and Lake Kickapoo at the following:

Arrowhead: 31.3%

Kickapoo: 36.3%

The combined total for both lakes is measured at 32.7%.

The combined total last week was listed at 33.1%.

The City remains under a Stage Three: Drought Emergency.
