Dr Pepper Game of the Week: Week Zero

In our first Dr Pepper Game of the Week for 2013, it's a matchup of former District rivals between Hirschi and Bowie.

The Jackrabbits won all three recent meetings with the Huskies from 2010-12, but two of the meetings were decided by just 10 (2010) and 9 (2012) points.

This year the Huskies have a deep group of talented seniors, and have their best chance yet to defeat the Jackrabbits in this matchup, with a decided advantage in speed and athleticism.

The key for the Jackrabbits will be controlling the line of scrimmage with their defensive front-seven and offensive line.

Check back all week to hear from players and coaches on both sides of the game, and then tune in to the Friday Night High School Football Update at 10:30 for extended highlights of the game!
