Lawton police are investigating a late night shooting that left one person in the hospital.

Police said it happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday near 12th Street and Southwest D Avenue.

A man was shot several times with a shotgun before someone drove him to the Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

Lawton P.D. said his injuries are minor and he is expected to recover. He is not cooperating with the investigation.

Detectives were called to the scene to interview witnesses.
