Golf Scramble and Golf Ball Drop - Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

Golf Scramble and Golf Ball Drop

Colonial Church will be hosting a Golf Scramble and Golf Ball Drop on Friday, September 20.

The event will happen at the Champions Course at Weeks Park, beginning with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

It is a four man scramble. To participate, it costs $100/player, or $400/team.

The entry fee includes: green fee, cart, driving range, lunch, drinks, and a t-shirt. Team prizes will be given away, along with hole prizes.

The goal is to raise money for the Colonial Food Pantry and Faith Mission/Refuge.

The Golf Ball Drop will begin after the golf tournament (around 6 p.m.). Nissan of Wichita Falls has generously donated a 2013 Nissan Versa for the winner of the drop. It is only $10 to enter the drop, per ball. Or, people can pay $50 for six balls. A helicopter will drop the golf balls for the chance to win the car.

Participants must be 18 or older to win.
