Final Goodbyes

Family and friends of the high school football played killed in Montague County are preparing to say their final goodbyes.

Nathan Maki's funeral is happening Thursday, September 5th, 2013 at 11:00a.m.

Mourners are being asked to donate to the Nathan Maki Benefit Fund at any North Star Bank of Texas rather than give flowers.

The football team is planning their own memorial for their teammate.  During Thursday night's game the team plans to present a jersey to Maki's family.  They also plan to show a video montage.

Authorities believe his death was accidental.
