Rider's Davon Allison Wins Player of the Week!

After an overwhelming number of votes were cast, over 5,000 overall, Rider wide receiver Davon Allison was the clear winner of our Texas Ford Player of the Week award for Zero Week!

Allison caught a school-record-tying 266 yards' worth of passes, scoring touchdowns on Rider's first and last snaps of the a 39-36 win over Abilene Cooper.

He tied former Raider, University of Florida and Buffalo Bills star David Nelson's record.

His Raiders will be taking on their former district rivals, the Denton Ryan Raiders, Thursday night at Memorial Stadium, and Newschannel 6 caught up with him Wednesday morning to announce his win!
