Interfaith Ministries Needs Your Help

With the hot temperatures we have been experiencing many texomans struggle to pay their electric bill.

Interfaith Ministries helps those in need of assistance and helping pay an electric bill is just one of the ways they help.  They help many people with utility payments, rent payments, prescriptions, and food.

The non-profit organization is in need to fill their food pantry as well as the rent payments because those tend to be a large part of household expenses.

Anyone who is in need to their assistance has to go through a very thorough screening process.  One of the reasons for this is to make sure there are no duplication services.

Fire crews tell Newschannel6 most of the fire was in the garage that was attached to the house. No one was in the house at the time of the fire. Damages are expected to be around $20,000.
