Law Enforcement Contract

Wichita County Commissioners approved a law enforcement contract between the Wichita County Sheriff's Office and Electra Police.

Now the proposal moves to Electra City officials.  So, sheriff's deputies are willing to step up temporarily to help.

Electra Commissioners are not discussing this contract at their last meeting of the fiscal year Tuesday night.

However, they will be meeting in the upcoming months to address the issue.
