A Lubbock man was found dead in a pasture near Seymour.

Baylor County Sheriff Bob Elliot said the body of a 60-year-old missing man was found Thursday morning near Highway 277 south of town.  Sheriff Elliot said Danny Charles Earnest was traveling from Plano to Lubbock, but stopped for treatment at the United Regional Emergency Room.

A minivan was found near Earnest's body.

Sheriff's Deputies and Texas Rangers are investigating it as a homicide.
