Kell House Museum and ACTors Creating Together are inviting Texoma children to join them for the final "Hands On History" program of the year. Geared toward children ages four to seven, October's program will be held in the beautiful Kell House Gardens as organizers host a "Mad Hatter Tea Party!"
Kids will learn about Victorian tea customs while snacking on punch and cake, have the opportunity to make a "mad hat" of their own, and discover historic lawn games, such as croquet. It is sure to be an experience the Kell children may have had more than 100 years ago!
This year's program will take place on Saturday, October 5 at 10 a.m. Parents are asked to attend the program with their children. It is free, however, space is limited. Participants are asked to call (940) 723-2712 ahead of the event to place reservations.
