30th Anniversary of National Night Out

The Wichita Falls Police Department celebrated the 30th Anniversary of National Night Out Tuesday evening.

The event is put together to encourage neighbors to sit on their porches with their lights on, and get to know one another.
The past several years the Wichita Falls Police Department has held an event for anyone wanting to get the information to start a neighborhood watch program.

This year's event was held at the Target parking lot on Kemp Blvd.
The Wichita Falls Police Department says anyone seeking more information that was unable to go the event should contact them, and they will provide it.
