Murder Suspect's Criminal History

Stephen Anthony Wade has been in and out of jail for the past 13 years.

Newschannel 6 dug into his criminal history and found convictions dating back to 2000. It appears the crimes increase in intensity with each arrest.

Here is a look:

- February 4, 2000: Wade is arrested for Criminal Trespass (misdemeanor-Class B). He pleaded guilty to the charge, and served 48 days behind bars.

- October 11, 2000: Wade is arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member (misdemeanor-Class A) and Criminal Trespass (misdemeanor- Class B). He pleaded guilty to both charges. He served 40 days behind bars for the assault charge, and he served 90 days behind bars for the criminal trespass charge.

- December 26, 2000: Wade is arrested for Theft of Property over $50 Under $500 (misdemeanor-Class B). He pleaded guilty to the charge. He served 100 days behind bars.

- January 12, 2002: Wade is arrested for Fail to Identify Fugitive From Justice (misdemeanor-Class B). He pleaded guilty to the charge, and he served 40 days behind bars.

- May 25, 2002: Wade is arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 under 1 Gram (felony-2nd Degree). He pleaded guilty to the charge. He served 63 days behind bars.

- December 26, 2002: Wade is arrested for Aggravated Robbery (felony -1st Degree). He pleaded guilty to the charge. He served ten years behind bars.
