Dr Pepper Game of the Week: Week 6

The District 5-3A title could be largely decided in the first night of district play, if last year is any indication.

#4 Graham travels to Vernon in a battle of last year's top two teams, and two of the best records in the district through the start of this year.

Last season, Vernon jumped out to a 14-0 lead in Graham, and led 14-13 at halftime, before the Steers stormed back for a 34-24 win that springboarded them to the 5-3A title.

This year, the district is a lot tougher than it was then, with a combined non-district record of 22-7, but along with Hirschi, the Lions and Steers seem like the class of the division.

Check back all week to hear from players and coaches on both teams!
