Allred Inmate Transferred To Wichita Falls

A man accused of killing a prisoner while serving time at Allred is now in the Wichita County Jail.

Micah Barefield was indicted this past August for killing another inmate at Allred back in 2012.  His bond was denied.

Barefield was transferred from Huntsville, where he was moved, and brought back to Wichita County by sheriff deputies Friday night.

He was originally serving a five year sentence at Allred for a burglary in Tarrant County.
