Murder Suspect In Court

A texoma teen was in court Thursday, October 10, 2013 facing capital murder charges.

Lawyers for Clifton John Russell IV, 17,  filed a motion in court today.

Russell confessed to being the gunmen in the armed robbery that killed Mohammed "Mo" Ahmad.

The shooting took place in January 2012 at Mo's Grocery on Old Iowa Park Road.

No trial date has been set yet. Russell was arrested the day after the shooting occurred.

He then identified Michael Graves, 19,  as his accomplice. The following day Graves turned himself in.

Russell is currently being held on a $1.5 million dollar bond.

Both teens would face life in prison without the possibility of parole if convicted.
