Week 6: Player of the Week Nominees!

After another great weekend of high school football, it's now time to name 3 nominees for our Texas-Ford Player of the Week!

First up, is Graham's Ben Davis. The senior quarterback was 18-25 passing for 299 yards and a career high 7 touchdowns on Friday night in the Steers 49-20 win over district rival Vernon.

Next, is Seymour's Zach Barton. He was 20-27 passing for 327 yards with 3 touchdowns, and added another 50 yards rushing with 3 more touchdowns in the Panthers 60-14 win over Olney.

Last, but not least, we have Notre dame's Cody McElroy. He was 19-30 passing for 216 yards with 3 touchdowns, and had another 216 yards rushing with 5 more touchdowns in the Knights 76-26 win over North Central Texas Academy.

Voting ends at midnight Tuesday night, and we'll announce the winner Wednesday on Newschannel 6 at 6!
