Fill Station Rates

Posted: Updated:

The Reilly Road rates are coming up for discussion during the Wichita Falls City Council meeting.

The Reilly Road station is the one Wichita Falls Mayor Glenn Barham told Newschannel 6 had people buying water and then selling it for profit.

The city and County came up with a rate plan for the fill station.  Under the proposed ordinance, the price for 1,000 gallons for city residents will be set at $4.40.  Non-city residents will pay double that price and will be required to pay a $25 a month administrative fee.

Councilors meet Tuesday at 8:30a.m. at Municipal Auditorium.
