Ex-Nighthawk Signs with CFL Team

Another former Wichita Falls Nighthawks football player signed with a professional team this weekend.

Former Nighthawks left tackle Jesse Green signed Thursday with the CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and was assigned to the team's practice squad Sunday.

He spent time with the Montreal Alouettes in training camp before being one of their final cuts in June.

Another ex-Nighthawk player, Tyron Carrier, is still with the Alouettes, where he's returned both a kickoff and a punt for touchdowns this season while averaging 25 yards per kick return.
