Krokodil Not Linked To Deaths

Investigators have determined the death of a Texoma father is not linked to a new drug that has made it's way to the United States.

Officials with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics said, with lack of medical confirmation the deaths of Justin McGee, a father of four, and a friend of his are not linked to Krokodil use at this time.

Krokodil originated in Russia as a cheap alternative to heroin and has been making it's way to the U.S.  The drug dissolves the skin over time and can create green scaly scarring that gives it it's name.
