Norman High School Bus Catches Fire

A Norman Oklahoma High School band bus caught fire on I-44 near Lawton Tuesday afternoon.

No one was injured, and all the students and staff evacuated the bus safely.

This was part of a three bus caravan and it was bus number two that caught fire.

Both sides of the highway were shutdown as the flames were put out.

A bus from Lawton came and picked up the children from the burned bus so they could get to Cameron University for their competition.

Some instruments were lost in the blaze, band members from Norman North High School let the band use what they needed to compete.
