Second Arrest In Connection To Aggravated Assault

Posted: Updated:

A second person is behind bars in connection to a shooting back in March.

Esteban Emanuel Gutierrez was arrested on Tuesday as an accomplice to the shooting.  He is now facing two counts of Aggravated Assault.

Wichita Falls Police said officers were sent to the 1300 block of MLK in response to shots fired.  When they arrived at the scene they spoke with the victim.  She claimed shots were fired at her while she was driving away.  Originally she was at a friends house trying to get money back that was owed to her.

Police said a bullet hole was found in her car and two marks were found on the outside of the car.  They appeared to be where bullets had grazed the vehicle.

Jamon Shaw was arrested October 11th, 2013 in connection to the incident.

Gutierrez's bond has been set at $500,000.
