Jack Carney - KAUZ-TV: Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

Jack Carney

Jack Carney joined the Newschannel 6 news team as a reporter in October 2013. 

He graduated from Lyndon State College of Vermont in May 2013 with a degree in Electronic Journalism Arts.  While Jack attended LSC, he also worked at News 7 (a station that covers Northern Vermont and New Hampshire) as video journalist, reporter, producer, and anchor. Jack was also active on campus; he was a representative for the Society of Professional Journalist in the LSC student government.

Jack was raised in Flower Mound, Texas.  He is excited to come back to the Lone Star State.  Jack loves outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, golf, and running. He also loves going to see concerts especially his favorite band Phish.  Jack is ecstatic to be in Texoma and can't wait to settle into his newfound home.

    After eight years Mitchell Chapel in Wichita Falls finally has a home they can call their own.Floods destroyed the original chapel in 2007. The chapel wandered from building to building until they were able to find a temporary home at 110Whitfield Lane in Wichita Falls. For five years through collections and donations the congregation now owns that building on 110 Whitfield Lane.
