Tuesday the Wichita Falls city council will vote on a set of new rules and regulations for property owners at Lakes Arrowhead and Kickapoo. While some of these rules are new many are simply a formal rules in practice but have yet to be put into writing.
One of these new rules require property owners or tenants to poses a permit and pay an annual fee of $250 if the would be using that lake water. All water usage by property owners or tenants would now be subject to the same water restrictions and contingency plans as those who live in the City of Wichita Falls. New laws also prohibit digging of new wells, while permitting the use and maintain of wells already in place. There is also going to be new building limits and permit process for construction of reservoirs.
