I.D.E.A. W.F.

The Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce is hoping more people will take part in I.D.E.A. Wichita Falls. The program, now in its fifth year, is designed to assist entrepreneurs in launching or expanding their businesses based in this area. It's actually more of a business plan competition that will select three winners to receive over $75,000, of cash prizes as well as free access to professional help with legal services, accounting management, and better help in understanding marketing assistance.
Teams will have to submit an executive summary, and pay a $100 fee when they submit the summary. The the judges will begin reviewing plans to select the three winners. There are a few guidelines to follow in order to be eligible. At least 3 new jobs must be created and over 50% of the revenue must come from outside Wichita and it's surrounding counties. The business must be located in Wichita Falls for a period of at least 3 years.
The first of many key dates for the competition is under a month away on December 5th at 5 p.m. when executive summaries are due.
