Week 10: Player of the Week Nominees!

After another great weekend of high school football, it's now time to name our 3 nominees for the Texas-Ford Player of the Week.

First up, is City View's Ryan Karr. The dual-threat quarterback was 5/11 passing for 156 yards and a TD. Plus, he had 26 carries for 162 yards and 2 more TD's in the Mustang's playoff clinching 38-35 win over Alvord.

Next, is Henrietta's Riley Watson. He was 12/24 passing for 178 yards and a TD, plus he carried the rock 16 times for 81 yards and 3 TD's in the Bearcats 33-27 win over Nocona. The win locked up the 2nd seed in the playoffs for Henrietta.

And, last but not least, is Rider's Carlos Fleeks. He was an absolute workhouse on Friday night. He finished with 37-carries for 215 yards and 3 TD's in the Raiders 36-21 win over Wichita Falls High School. Fleeks, and the Rider senior class, finished out their high school career with a perfect 4-0 record against their arch rivals.

Voting ends at midnight Tuesday night, and we'll announce the winner Wednesday on Newschannel 6 at 6!
