City View's Karr Takes Final POTW Award

City View quarterback Ryan Karr rode a wave of support to take our final Texas Ford Player of the Week award for 2013!

Karr earned nearly 62% of the vote after throwing for 156 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 162 more and two scores in the Mustangs' playoff-clinching 38-35 win at Alvord.

Henrietta QB Riley Watson came in second after throwing and running for a combined 259 yards and four touchdowns in the Bearcats' narrow win over Nocona to clinch the 2nd seed in District 5-2A Division II.

Rider's Carlos Fleeks rounded out the nominees, after carrying the ball 37 times for 215 yards and three scores in the Raiders' rivalry win over Wichita Falls HS that clinched the top seed in the 4A Division II playoffs.
