Bowie in Stage Two

Residents in Bowie are now under stage two drought restrictions.

The new restrictions have residents alternate days to water their grass. Even numbered addresses can water on even number days of the month and odd numbered addresses can water on odd number days. However, watering should only occur between the hours of 4:00a.m. and 8:00a.m. and 9:00p.m. and 11:00p.m.

You are not allowed to wash your vehicles or pavements, but this does not affect commercial car washes. Restrictions are solely public use of water and any other use of water that does not threaten public health or safety.
