Out Of State Marijuana Arrests

A California man and Nevada woman were arrested Wednesday on charges of drug possession after Wichita Falls police say the pair went a little too fast on Highway 287 near the Maurine  street exit.

32-year-old Tony Kattavong and 37-year-old Vilaivanh Ngonkambay were pulled over on  Wednesday.

When police asked for Kattavong's license it turned out her license was suspended.
After searching their vehicle officers found religious items and over 12lbs.  of hydrophonic  marijuana.

The pair is being charged with possession of marijuana over five pounds under 50 pounds.

Their bonds are set at $100,000.00 each.
