Hanger Holiday

The 28th annual Hanger Holiday kicked off Saturday at the MPEC Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall. The event features hundreds of professional craft show vendors and home-based businesses.

It's the region's largest free two-day craft fair hosted by the Sheppard Officers' Spouses Club.

"Hanger Holiday is a shopping bizarre and also a fundraiser for scholarships and charitable grants," said Tricia Berube and Alison Howard, Hanger Holiday coordinators.

Proceeds from the event will benefit SOSC scholarships, which allow military spouses and dependents to receive more than $30,000 in scholarships. SOSC also contributes money to various base and local charities.
