Burkburnett Rollover

The driver of a truck lost control and cut a telephone pole in half on Monday night in Burkburnett.

The accident happened around 8:00p.m. at the intersection of South Berry and Park Street.

Police said the driver of a Chevy Silverado was heading south on Oklahoma Cutoff and lost control of the truck.  Then the truck went through a dip and cut a telephone pole in half.  The bottom portion of the truck speared through the center of the cab.

The 22-year-old driver was taken to the hospital and was released on Tuesday.
