The Camp Fire of North Texas continued an over 40 year old tradition Tuesday.

The children took toys and kids clothing they've collected to give to the Faith Refuge in Wichita Falls.

The children also collected canned goods for the local food bank. Executive Director of Campfire North Texas, Bettye Ricks shared with us what the children get from this event.

"This is our 48th year for our children and our families to get together and just to have a lot of fun and we're bringing toys and children's clothing for faith refuge and we are also bringing ffoodfor the food bank," Ricks said.

The President of Camp Fire North Texas, Bob Hampton said Santa Claus will present the toys, clothing, and food to Faith Refuge and the food bank.
