Cancer Prevention Study

Posted: Updated:

Texoma residents can help be a part of history on Wednesday night by participating in the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Prevention Study.

It’s being held from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the First United Methodist Church located at 10th Street and Travis.

Requirements say that you must be an adult between 30 and 65 who has never had cancer.  If you haven’t already enrolled walk-in’s are accepted.

The study hopes to determine how genetics, lifestyle and the environment work together to cause or prevent cancer.
